Surgical Presentation Prize 2008
14th June 2008
Are you currently doing a fourth year project, or have you done any research whilst at medical school?
Is it an audit, research project, or critical review related to surgery?
If YES, then enter Scalpel’s surgical presentation prize.
Scalpel are arranging a presentation evening for students to present their work - a great opportunity to gain experience of a conference style presentation and to build your CV.
There will be prizes for the best entries awarded by a judging panel led by Professor Charles McCollum, a local academic surgeon, donated by the Manchester Surgical Research Foundation.
If you would like to enter, email an abstract to Scalpel at scalpel@manchester.ac.uk by 1st August 2008, subject title “Surgical Research Prize”. The Abstract should be no more than 200 words and may be the same as that in your report.
We will contact you in the summer holidays with details of the Presentation evening which will take place in October.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Nick Kalson at nickkalson@gmail.com
Best wishes,
Scalpel Committee 2008
